What it covers

• Prompts: the written spec for each layout, which you paste into your agent.
• Code: the full React and Tailwind code some layouts come with.
• Previews: the stills of each layout, rendered from our own build.

What you can do

Use any layout in any project: your own, a client's, or a product you sell. Change it, combine it with others, and ship it. Copying needs a free account, and there is no limit on how many projects a layout goes into.

No attribution needed

You don't have to credit Layout or keep a license notice with anything you copy, build or ship. A mention is always welcome, never required.

What your agent builds from a prompt, in your codebase and against your own components, is your work.

Credits

Some items are credited to the team whose design move inspired them. Each one is rebuilt from scratch in our own words and on our own scale, never from their code, and the credit is there to say where the idea came from. It does not mean that team made, endorses or is connected to Layout.

What it does not cover

• The Layout name and logo, which are not licensed for your own products.
• Other companies' names and logos, including those in credits and those of the coding agents a prompt can be sent to. They belong to their owners.
• Fonts, icons and images you add when you build a layout, which come with their own licenses.

No warranty

The library is provided as it is. Before you ship what your agent builds, check that it works for your content and your users, including for accessibility.
